Beyonce may be obsessed with the number 4. But the international pop diva has been three times the lady for Vogue in 2013.

After gracing the cover of Vogue‘s “Power Issue” in February and showing off her taunt tummy for British Vogue in April, the only chick on Jay-Z’s arm somehow finds a way to step it up a notch on the May 2013 cover of Vogue India. Shot by photographer Patrick Demarchilier, the 31-year-old is stunning in a plunging black corset top by Marni and Haider Ackermann.

After a stellar performance at the Super Bowl, a sexy campaign as the new face of H&M‘s summer swimsuit collection, and an international “Mrs. Carter” tour that’s currently still in progress, Beyonce is sitting on top of the world. but the Grammy Award-winning artist confesses that only one recent accomplishment has completely changed her outlook on life.

“Right now, after giving birth, I really understand the power of my body,” she say. “I just feel my body means something completely different. I feel a lot more confident about it. Even being heavier, thinner, whatever. I feel a lot more like a woman. More feminine, more sensual. And no shame.”

Since welcoming daughter Blue Ivy into the world with husband Jay-Z last January, Beyonce confesses she feels a love she never knew possible. “I felt very maternal around eight months,” she remembers. “And I thought I couldn’t become any more until I saw the baby…But it happened during my labor because I had a very strong connection with my child. I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn’t think about my own pain…We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication. She’s my road dog. She’s my homey, my best friend.”
