Look What Jeremy Scott Put On His New adidas Originals JS Wings 2.0 “Dollars” Sneakers
Innovative fashion/sneaker designer Jeremy Scott has finally outdone himself. Over the course of the last few years, he’s created all kinds of wacky sneakers that have included everything from teddy bear heads to wings. But his latest adidas Originals creation outdoes them all and shows just how far he’s come as a designer. That’s because the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings 2.0 “Dollars” don’t just feature a wacky pattern on them—they feature a wacky pattern on them that features his face.
That’s right. No longer content with simply letting his designs speak on his behalf, Jeremy Scott has worked his own mug into his latest sneaker. The JS Wings 2.0 “Dollars” feature the trademark Wings that Jeremy Scott has included on adidas Originals sneakers for the last few seasons now. But it also features a bunch of fake dollar bills all over it. And, rather than use the mugs of U.S. presidents, it’s appears as though he has placed his own face at the center of each and every dollar bill on the sneaker. Just when you thought Scott’s Wings couldn’t get any crazier, he upped the ante by making them more personal than ever.
If Jeremy Scott hadn’t included his face on the JS Wings 2.0 “Dollars,” these sneakers would still have had a lot going for them. They also would have been must-haves for anyone who is a fan of Jeremy Scott’s sneaker designs. But now that he’s thrown his face on them, we have to think that these are going to be one of the most coveted adidas Originals Wings sneakers to date, right? We also have to think that these things will sell out quickly when they hit stores later this year.
Stay tuned for additional details on the JS Wings 2.0 “Dollars” coming soon. In the meantime, let us know if you plan on picking up a pair when they drop. Do you think Jeremy Scott made a good decision by incorporating his face into one of his designs?
