When your name is Justin Bieber, “nothing stops the show!”

The 19-year-old Canadian pop superstar was in for the shock of his life during a recent stop in Dubai on his “Believe” World Tour. Somehow an overzealous male fan, dressed in a white shirt and pants, got past security and appeared onstage while the Biebs was performing one of his hits while seated at his baby grand piano. When the fan went in for a hug, he was then tackled by security causing the piano to slam to the floor.

“A young fan desperate to meet his idol did make his way on stage but was immediately removed and Justin professionally continued with his show,” the show’s promoter, Thomas Ovesen of Done Events, told the The National, a United Arab Emirates newspaper. “As far as we know no further action has been taken against the youth.”

“It happened all of a sudden when the guy sprinted on stage,” a concert-goer told the paper. “Everybody thought he was a dancer but because I was at Saturday’s concert I knew it wasn’t part of the show. Justin looked scared and freaked out. He stopped singing for a couple of seconds and then he continued on the side of the stage.”

He may have been freaked out but after a brief 3-minute break, the “Boyfriend” singer reappeared, finishing his concert to the glee and wonderment of everyone in the audience. Later, he took to Twitter to speak about the ordeal. “Nothing stops the show,” he wrote. “2 more to go. #BELIEVEtour.”

Watch the crazy video below. There’s a reason that “fan” is short for “fanatic.”
