Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson is everywhere right now. He’s in the new Mark Wahlberg movie, Pain & Gain. He’s hosting a new TV show called The Hero. And, later this month, he will once again assume the role of Luke Hobbs in Fast & Furious 6. See? Everywhere. As a result, he’s constantly on the move. From movie sets to the sets of late-night TV shows, The Rock is running around like crazy putting in work. And, to do so, he needs a decent pair of sneakers to keep on his feet. So Under Armour just hooked him up in a serious way. They created a special pair of Under Armour Spine Bionic “Miami Hurricanes” PE sneakers for him to wear.

If you don’t know a ton about The Rock’s history, he used to play football back when he was on college. Actually, he did more than just play; he starred on a bunch of really good teams. He was a part of the University of Miami program and helped lead the Hurricanes to a National Championship in 1991. A series of injuries prevented him from going pro. But his life turned out just fine, as he went on to become a star in the World Wrestling Federation and later set his sights on taking over Hollywood. But, before all that, he was a Hurricane at heart. So this pair of Hurricanes-themed Under Armour sneakers that feature his jersey number 94 and a Miami-inspired colorway are right up his alley. We bet he’ll be spotted wearing these a few times over the course of the next few weeks.

What do you think about the Under Armour sneakers that UA created for The Rock? Is there anything you would have done differently to make them look even better? Let us know in the comments section. And the next time you see The Rock on your TV screen, take a look at his feet. There’s a very good chance that you’ll see him rocking these while he works on promoting one of the many projects that he’s got going on right now.
