Do You Like The Look Of The New LeBron XI Sneaker?

The 2012-13 NBA season isn’t over yet. In fact, there’s still about a month left before an NBA champion will be crowned. And that means that LeBron James will wear a variety of different Nike LeBron X sneakers before the Miami Heat‘s playoff run is finished. But that didn’t stop his close friend/business advisor Maverick Carter from showing off a pair of the brand-new Nike LeBron XI sneakers recently. Over the weekend, he posted a pic of the LeBron XI to his Instagram page. And it’s already got Nike LeBron fans salivating over what is to come from LeBron’s sneaker line.

As you can see, the LeBron XI doesn’t feature the same smooth lines as the last few pairs of LeBron sneakers have. Rather, the design includes a lot of hard edges and straight lines throughout it. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. But it does make the LeBron XI look a little bit different from recent LeBron sneakers. And outside of that, the LeBron XI appears to include all of the latest forms of technology that Nike has to offer. From Dynamic Flywire to the use of Foamposite, the LeBron XI has a little bit of everything on it. It also features LBJ’s logo on the tongue, which is something that hasn’t always appeared on LeBron’s recent sneakers.

The colorway that you see here is Army Slate/Gun Metal Black-Light Army. It’s not necessarily our favorite colorway. But as with all Nike LeBron sneakers, you can expect to see this in a ton of different colorways when it eventually drops. As for an official release date, Nike hasn’t announced anything yet. But you’re probably not going to be able to get your hands on this sneaker until sometime in the fall. With that in mind, do you think you’re going to be interested in picking up a pair of these when they hit stores? Let us know if you like them more or less than the LeBron X that is currently on shelves.
