Victoria’s Secret Pisses Off Kate Upton Again & Publishes Old Catalog Photos

Victoria’s Secret has learned a very important lesson: Never say never.

The lingerie retailer has infuriated Kate Upton by using old photos of the now 22-year-old model in their latest catalog after stating that Kate’s look wasn’t representative of the brand.

“We would never use Kate,” Victoria’s Secret model booker Sophia Neophitou told the New York Times. “She’s like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blonde hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money could go out and buy.”

Clearly, Vicky is singing a different tune now, utilizing images of the blonde bombshell shot in 2011 while Upton was on contract. Sources say Kate “is not thrilled about the images being used,” and had no warning that the images would be featured for the lingerie giant. So why the change of heart?

“When those photos were taken two years ago, none of us really knew who Kate Upton was,” said Cynthia Bailey, CEO of the Bailey School of Fashion and star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta to ABC News. “Now she’s a huge celebrity and if Victoria’s Secret owns those photos, it’s just good business for them to use them.”

Check out Kate Upton’s shoot with Victoria’s Secret below from back when she was only 18 years old. Do you think Victoria’s Secret should have used Kate’s images after saying she wasn’t good enough?
