The consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton just posted a job listing for a systems administrator operating out of Honolulu, HI. If you have “3+ years of experience” in the field, the position could be yours – just don’t ask what happened to the last guy.

Until June 10th, Edward Joseph Snowden was employed by BAH, and operating out of Hawaii. That’s when he was terminated for “violations of the firm’s code of ethics,” according to a statement from the company. Days earlier, Snowden had leaked classified information from BAH about NSA spying programs, and fled to Hong Kong.

Wikipedia reports that Snowden was indeed a systems administrator, but it cites the company’s statement, which does not say exactly what job title Snowden held.

Also, Snowden has said he earned $200,000, but BAH says he had a salary of $122,000.

The job listing notes that “[a]pplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.”

It says that the job requires “secret” clearance, the middle level of classified information designations.

The notice does not list “keeping a secret” as either a basic or additional qualification.
