Rita Ora Embodies Madonna For Interview & Reveals The One Thing Jay-Z Said “Never Do!”

Rita Ora vamps it up for the German Edition of Interview magazine’s August 2013 issue.

Shot by Damon Baker, the British/Albanian Roc Nation artist channels pop icon Madonna for the strikingly dark image reminiscent of Madge’s 1990 video for “Justify My Love.” Recently tapped to be the new face of Madonna’s clothing line Material Girl, Ora took to Instagram to discuss the inspiration behind the shoot.  “Inspired by the Queens of all Queens Madonna,” she wrote alongside images from Interview. “Thank you for existing!”

When she wasn’t grabbing her boobs or posing in fishnets and black stilettos inside the magazine, the 22-year-old tells the interesting story of meeting Roc Nation founder Jay-Z. “He said hello—and just in that moment, one of his bodyguards stepped on my shoes,” Ora recalled. “Brand new Air Jordans…so I knelt down to rub them clean, ‘cause that’s what you’re supposed to do. But Jay-Z grabbed me by the shoulders, pulled me up and went: ‘Don’t ever do that. Come with me.’ And then…we went sneaker shopping. A whole suitcase of sneakers!”

Now that’s the kind of boss every girl wishes she had! Check out Rita’s saucy spread for Interview below. The August issue of Interview drops today.
