Jill Scott, Ne-Yo, J. Cole, Demi Lovato & Kevin Hart Headline VH1′s July 4th “Philly Jam” Concert
America the beautiful is getting a proper birthday celebration this Fourth of July!
Demi Lovato, John Mayer, J. Cole, Jill Scott, Grace Potter, Ne-Yo, Marsha Ambrosius, and more are just a few of the superstar musicians slated to serenade America in style in the City of Brotherly Love for the largest free party of the year, The Philly 4th of July Jam. As the official Music Curators for the City of Philadelphia, The Roots will serve as the house band for the Fourth of July Jam held at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
Now in it’s third year, the Philly Jam draws over 600,000 attendees annually. But this year, the concert can be enjoyed by citizens across the USA as VH1 & MTV’s Palladia have teamed up with the city to air a live broadcast of the free concert and fireworks show to over 95 million homes on Thursday, July 4 from 8 to 11 p.m. EST.
