New Balance Has Yet Another Hit On Its Hands With The New Balance 574 “Rugby Pack”
Are you impressed with what New Balance is doing right now? It seems like every other day there is a fly new sneaker with a big “N” slapped on the side of it hitting stores. Although New Balance started 2013 off relatively slow, they have been going in throughout the spring and have delivered a handful of dope sneakers for the summer season. And from the looks of things, they aren’t planning on slowing down anytime soon. We’ve seen a number of new New Balance sneakers in June, and that trend appears to continue with the news about the New Balance 574 “Rugby Pack.”
For the New Balance 574 “Rugby Pack,” New Balance uses a polo rugby jersey as inspiration and creates a must-have sneaker for the summer. The “Rugby Pack” features four very distinct colorways—green, grey, navy, and red—that are the exact kinds of colorways you would find on a rugby jersey. Further, New Balance used canvas on the upper parts of the sneakers in the “Rugby Pack” as well as contrasting white laces and midsoles in order to really make the colors used on the sneakers pop. And they most certainly do pop right off the sneaker. The lining on the interior of the sneaker also looks like a rugby shirt, which is a great touch and really puts this shoe over the top.
If you’re interested in picking up a pair for the summer, all four sneakers in the New Balance 574 “Rugby Pack” are available through select New Balance retailers right now. We would recommend picking up one of the colorways for the summer and then picking up another colorway for the fall. Because these things look like they would go great with a nice rugby shirt or even a varsity jacket. What do you think about what New Balance has done here?
