Does it drive you absolutely nuts when the bottom of your sneakers get dirty? Of course it does. Even though people probably make fun of you for it—sneaker soles are made to get dirty, after all—you pay hundreds of dollars for your sneakers if you’re a sneakerhead. So you want to do everything that you can to protect your investment. And if that means avoiding puddles and sticking to the sidewalk at all costs, then so be it. It’s better than getting home and realizing that you stepped in a big pile of dog crap in your new Js, right?

Fortunately, you don’t have to do those kinds of things anymore in order to keep the bottoms of your sneakers looking crispy. Thanks to a new product called Sole Protector, you can keep the soles of your sneakers clean from here on out. In fact, you can keep them looking brand new, even if you wear them on a regular basis. And all you need to do is install a pair of Sole Protectors to your sneakers to get the job done.

So what are Sole Protectors? Well, they’re basically piece of clear film that use 3M technology in order to stick to the bottom of your sneaker soles to prevent them from getting dirty. The Sole Protector company released this how-to video recently to show you exactly how they provide so much coverage for your sneaker:

What do you think about the product? Is it something that you would use in order to protect your sneaker? We don’t think we would throw Sole Protectors on all of our sneakers. It seems like a lot of work, and we’re not sure that it would ultimately pay off if we did it on every single sneaker we own. But for those hard-to-get sneakers that we definitely want to keep clean, we wouldn’t mind the extra protection that Sole Protectors provide.

Are you with us? Or are you just fine getting the bottoms of your sneakers a little bit dirty? Sound off in the comments section below.
