Allen Iverson’s Classic Reebok Question Is Getting A New “#1 Pick” Colorway

Allen Iverson may not be playing in the NBA anymore. But that isn’t stopping Reebok from releasing new colorways of his iconic sneakers. Last year, they re-released the iconic Reebok Question sneaker to the world. And in light of all of the success that the sneaker enjoyed upon its re-release, Reebok is giving the sneaker a major makeover and re-releasing it yet again later this summer. And we have to admit that we’re definitely big fans of what they’ve done with the Question here. It almost looks like a completely different sneaker but is still every bit as dope as ever.

As you can see, the new Reebok Question, which has been dubbed the “#1 Pick,” now features a blue/red/white colorway that celebrates AI getting selected No. 1 overall in the 1996 NBA Draft. The Philadelphia 76ers picked Iverson in that draft, which is why Reebok chose to adorn the Question in a new colorway inspired by the Sixers old team colors. The upper part of the sneaker is covered in blue, while hints of red and white appear elsewhere on it. The sneaker features a speckled sole as well, and the heel of the sneaker features the number “1″ as opposed to the usual “3″ to really sell the “#1 Pick” angle that Reebok used to create this sneaker. Overall, it looks like a solid shoe that you’ll love if you’re a fan of the original Reebok Question.

If you’re interested in picking this sneaker up, it will hit stores on August 23 and will be available for $125 through Reebok retailers. What do you think about what Reebok has done with the Question here? Are you a fan of them releasing the Question in new colorways to celebrate AI’s legacy? Or do you think they should limit the number of colorways they put the sneaker out in to preserve its integrity? Check out some additional images of the Reebok Question “#1 Pick” below, and then let us know what you think about it. We are most certainly looking forward to picking this sneaker up when it drops.
