Watch Earl Sweatshirt Smash His Apple MacBook Pro To Smithereens Out Of Frustration

Raise your hand if you think that your computer is too slow. Unless you just bought your computer, like, yesterday, you’re probably raising your hand right now. We don’t know what makes it happen. But even if we don’t load our hard drives with more viral cat videos than it can handle, it seems like our computers get slower and slower (and slower!) by the day. It’s just something that you have to deal with if you’re going to own a computer. No matter how well you take care of it, it will get slower over time.

Er, at least, that’s what most people experience. While regular people have to live with their slow computers until they eventually conk out, Odd Future apparently isn’t down with playing the waiting game. And Earl Sweatshirt proved that earlier this week when his Apple MacBook Pro started to get slow on him. Rather than take a trip to the Apple Store or add some RAM to his laptop, he took a completely different approach to his slow computer and destroyed it. And when we say destroyed, we mean destroyed.

In the video below, Earl throws his MacBook on the ground, steps on it, rips it in half, climbs on top of a bucket and jumps on it, and, well, pretty much does whatever he can to turn a perfectly good computer into a computer that’s now in 1,000 pieces. Tears actually fell from our eyes when we watched Earl in action, as he went way overboard to prove his point about his slow computer. Watch him go crazy below:

What did you think of that? We understand the frustration that comes along with a slow computer. But that just seemed a little bit unnecessary, didn’t it? A MacBook Pro—even an old, slow MacBook Pro—could have fetched Earl a few hundred bucks. And while we don’t doubt that he’s doing just fine these days when it comes to money, we don’t see the sense in destroying a computer just because it’s slow. Next time your computer acts up, Earl, don’t crush it. Send it to us. We won’t fix it, but if you’re just going to destroy it anyway, we’ll take it!

Has your computer ever made you want to do this to it? Let us know in the comments section below.
