Tracee Ellis Ross Shows Off Her Shoe Collection To The Coveteur: “I Was Spoiled!”
After taking a look into Tracee Ellis Ross‘ fashion closet, we’re definitely wishing she was one of our “girlfriends.” The 40-year-old actress and daughter of the Supremes singer Diana Ross invited The Coveteur to take a grand tour of her Los Angeles-based home, ending with perhaps the most impressive room of all: her fashion closet.
“I was spoiled when I worked in the magazine world. Fashion closets are heaven and I seem to model my organization after a fashion closet,” Ross revealed. “Plus, I love to SEE everything. Once it gets put in a drawer it is less likely for me to grab for it. Although, I have a clear knowledge of ALL my things and where they are. I am not a gal to lose track of something and remember it a couple of months later and not be able to find it. I love order. Open any of my drawers and you will think you are in a store.”
Tracee also admitted that when it comes to jewelry, all that glitters must be gold. “I go through phases: a ring phase, earring phase, no jewelry phase,” she said. “But, I always love my gold ‘Tracee’ doorknockers. And I love, as you can tell, statement pieces. L.A. has great vintage. I score big in L.A. and am always hunting and on the lookout. I do NOT shop online. I like to touch, feel and try things on. I bought a floor-length Azzedine Alaïa fuchsia dress that still kills me and that I still wear. But that first time wearing it and the wooden Calvin Klein clutch and Neil Lane vintage jewels was just pristine and perfection.”
