Shakira Flaunts Her Banging Post-Baby Body On SELF: “I’m Quite Proud Of My Rear!”
While the world waits for a glimpse of Kim Kardashian‘s post-baby body, another proud mama is showing off her curves.
Shakira‘s hips don’t lie and her abs don’t either! The 36-year-old Latina singer flashed her taunt tummy on the September 2013 cover of SELF and shared her secret to transforming her body from flab to fab after the birth of her son Milan with her boyfriend, professional soccer player Gerard Pique, on January 22.
“I did Zumba throughout my pregnancy,” The Voice coach said. “That helped me not gain too much weight.”
After the birth of her first son, Shakira quickly dropped the pounds by adhering to a strict regimen that included a private week-long training session with Zumba creator Beto Perez, four to five morning workouts per week, and a diet rich in protein and fiber. And the hard work definitely paid off.
“I’m quite proud of my rear,” Shakira boasted, while admitting that she is not in search of perfection. “I don’t obsess over my flaws, because I see my body as a whole. Besides, I think men appreciate confidence more than perfection.”
