“How Many Drinks” singer Miguel apparently had one drink too many.

The 27-year-old R&B crooner was arrested early Thursday morning in Los Angeles for driving under the influence. According to multiple reports, Miguel was behind the wheel of his 2013 BMW X6 when it was stopped around 2:15 AM for speeding and illegally tinted windows by California Highway Patrol.

Once officers approached the stopped vehicle, they immediately detected the strong scent of alcohol. The 5-foot-7-inch, 140-pound Grammy Award-winning artist was asked to take a sobriety test. Miguel then failed multiple tests, blowing a 0.10 and 0.11 on the Breathalyzer, which is over California’s legal limit of .08.

The “Adorn” singer was later taken into custody and booked at a nearby station. He was released a few short hours later on $5,000 bail.

Miguel is scheduled to appear in court in September. His reps have failed to comment on the incident thus far. How many drinks do you think it took?
