Raz-B is in a coma and on life support following a fight in China.

According to multiple reports, the former B2K singer was performing at a nightclub on Friday in China when a fight broke out in the crowd. The 28-year-old singer attempted to stop the brawl but instead was injured in the process. Raz-B was struck in the face with a bottle, suffering from deep cuts on his lips, chin, and forehead (see image below). Raz-B, whose real name is De’Mario Monte Thornton, and his attacker were both held and questioned by police. Both were released the same evening.

Later that evening, Raz-B was treated by doctors at a hospital in China and underwent minor surgery for the gash on his lip and even returned home. The singer seemed fine but the next morning he was found in his bed unconscious by a back-up dancer. Raz-B, whose hits include “Uh Huh” and “Bump, Bump, Bump,” was rushed back to the hospital where doctors delivered the heartbreaking news. Raz-B is currently breathing through a ventilator and he remains in and out of consciousness.

“He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible,” Raz’s publicist, Toy Jones, told TMZ.

This isn’t the first time the singer has suffered near fatal wounds in China. Last July, Raz-B tripped and fell through a glass door in his hotel room severely slashing his wrists in the process. Our thoughts and prayers are with Raz-B and his family in the hopes that he can recover from this injury as well.
