Reebok Will Re-Release Yet Another Old Signature Sneaker Next Year By Dropping The Reebok Big Hurt
And another one! Reebok Classics remains committed to hitting us over the head with re-releases right now. It’s as if they stumbled upon a closet filled with their old signature sneakers and said, “Hey, we should re-release these sometime,” and then set up a release date schedule on the spot. Because every time we turn around, Reebok is delivering yet another re-release. Not that we’re complaining! We really love what they’re doing right now.
Over the course of the last few months, most of those re-releases have included sneakers from Shaquille O’Neal‘s old signature sneaker collection. But it appears as though Reebok will be re-releasing other signature sneakers from other sports soon as well. One that stands out to us is the Reebok Big Hurt. It was originally designed for former MLB player Frank Thomas back in the 1990s. But now, Reebok is going to re-release the Big Hurt in colorways that pay homage to Thomas’ old MLB teams, specifically the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and Toronto Blue Jays. The sneaker will feature the same striped pattern as it did back when it was first released.
You can take a closer look at all three Big Hurt colorways below. What do you think about all of the re-releases that Reebok is suddenly presenting to the world? As we said, we are really enjoying what Reebok is doing right now, and we hope that they keep it up. They’ve got tons of signature sneakers in the vault just begging to be re-released. And if they continue to put them out, we think that people will continue to be receptive to them and snatch them up.
