Kim Kardashian Flaunts Her Pregnant Belly, Flashes Grills & Possibly Drinks Blood In An Edgy CR Fashion Book Pictorial

Kim Kardashian grinned and bared it all for the third issue of Carine Roitfeld‘s CR Fashion Book.

Before giving birth to her first daughter North West with rapper Kanye West in June, the reality diva posed for a set of edgy images for the cover and a spread inside the new magazine created by Roitfeld, the former Vogue Paris EIC. Shot back in May by fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld, the black and white photos feature the then-mommy-to-be flashing a gold grill and baring her pregnant belly. In the sole color image, besides the cover, Kim sits in front of a wall of flowers eating in a disturbing fashion from a pot of blood red jelly jam.

“It’s good, what I learned from Karl: Always surprise people,” Roitfeld said of her magazine, which she wants to push the envelope. “[People] like it or they don’t like it. People were very surprised. I think it’s good to have surprises in fashion because we always see the same things.”

Roitfeld met Kardashian through West “because he is so into fashion, of course,” Roitfeld told People. “We decided we would do a story about her. Immediately she said, ‘Yes.’  She was one of the easiest models I have ever worked with. She’s not a model, but she was pregnant, you know, and I love pregnant women. Honestly, she was very, very nice. She made no demands at all.”

Check out Kim’s shocking spread in the latest issue of the CR Fashion Book due out on September 12. Do you think grills and jelly are high fashion?
