Reebok Is Going To Release A Special Question Mid Created Specifically For Females

Over the course of the last year or so, we have seen Reebok release a number of Reebok Question Mid sneakers. The Question Mid—which is Allen Iverson‘s signature Reebok sneaker—is a classic basketball sneaker. So when Reebok decided to give it the retro treatment and re-release it, it was only right that they did so in a number of different colorways. However, up until now, Reebok had not created a colorway targeted at all of the females out there. It didn’t really matter, seeing as how most female sneakerheads are more than happy to rock the regular versions of sneakers. But Reebok just made amends for it anyway by creating a special colorway of the Question Mid specifically for all of the females out there who love the Question silhouette.

So what makes it so “female-friendly”? To tell you the truth, we see no reason why men couldn’t wear Question Mids like these, too. But Reebok did add some special touches to them to try and entice the ladies out there to pick up a pair. For instance, they went with an upper that includes black premium leather and small hits of purple. They also outfitted the toe box and heel in a metallic purple faux-snakeskin material. And the purple laces really help tie the entire look of the sneaker together—no pun intended—and sell these as a sneaker aimed at females.

And the best part of all? The ladies won’t have to wait to get their hands on a pair of these (ladies first, right?). They are currently available through a variety of Reebok retailers. The only catch is that it appears as though they are only available in grade school sizes. So unless you’ve got a small foot—or unless you’re looking to pick up a pair of sneakers for your daughter—you’re not going to be able to squeeze your feet into these. Still, do you like what Reebok did by creating a special pair of Question Mids specifically for females?
