Lil Cease Hosts Utter Intuition’s “Crusade Against Cancer” Event
With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, event management company Utter Intuition and Carnegie PR joined forces to host “F*CK CANCER! The Crusade Against Cancer Fundraising Event Part Two” on Wednesday night at Julisa’s Bar & Lounge in Harlem. The crusade is near and dear to Utter Intuition’s founders/CEOs Katherine Reyes and Hazel Veras, with Reyes’s mom living with a rare form of cancer, and Veras’ mom being a cancer survivor.
The event was hosted by rapper Lil Cease, who lost both his sister and his dad to cancer in the past year. Utter Intuition’s goal is to garner the support of the community, entertainment industry, and more in order to bring awareness to health and wellness and preventative measures, and to raise money to donate to charitable organizations.
During the course of the evening, guests sipped, chatted, networked and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres sponsored by Sky Ladies Inc., “sweet treats” sponsored by Poshitively Desserts, raffles and giveaways provided by EDV International Food Export/Marketing Management Corporation, Robert Morales of Trap Life Apparel, LaRay’s Homemade Cookies, Ambiance by Liquid Sanity Handmade Gel Candles, Crystal Glacier Illuminated Bottled Alkaline Water, AOA Media Group, Devora of Dig Deep Baby, SHEnail polish, Juicy Magazine, Davidoff Cigars, Miss Jessie’s Curls, Washington Heights Corner Project, Cruzznfun, Unique Concepts, SK Energy Drink, Live Life Love Life Brand, Guns Down Life Up/HHC Fund and more.
Along with Lil Cease, notable guests at Wednesday night’s event included hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Caz, Stephanie Carnegie of Carnegie PR, Fred The Godson, and battle rap legend Loaded Lux. Check out pictures taken at the event below.
