Steph Curry Shows Off The New Under Armour Anatomix Spawn

Submitted by on October 14, 2013 – 2:33 pmNo Comment

Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry signed an endorsement deal with Under Armour less than two weeks ago. And already, he’s helping the brand to make a major impact by wearing a brand new Under Armour silhouette while overseas. Curry and the Warriors are in China right now getting ready to play the Los Angeles Lakers in an exhibition game on Tuesday. But before they do, Curry is helping Under Armour promote their new Under Armour Anatomix Spawn by wearing a special PE version of the sneaker during practices. He has also attended several promo events for Under Armour while in China. You can see the sneaker that he’s pushing right now both above and below.

The sneaker that Curry is wearing features the Warriors purple and gold colors as well as Curry’s jersey number 30 and his initials “SC” on the tongue. This exact sneaker obviously won’t be available in stores. But the Anatomix Spawn sneakers are available in other colorways and look like a pretty dope basketball sneaker. Unlike a lot of the other Under Armour basketball sneakers, the Anatomix offer ankle support but not too much ankle support. That makes them look a lot cleaner and sleeker than some of the other basketball sneakers that Under Armour currently offers. So we could see these sneakers catching on quickly if Curry continues to push them as diligently as he is pushing them right now.

What do you think about the Anatomix Spawn sneakers that Curry is wearing here? Would you wear these to play basketball? And do you think that Curry made the right decision by pairing up with Under Armour recently in order to start promoting their sneakers? Let us know in the comments section below. We’re excited to see what else Under Armour and Curry roll out during the upcoming NBA season.
