So Disrespectful: ESPN Uses Arizona Cardinals Logo For St. Louis Cardinals

In the words of Stephen A. Smith: “You’re SO disrespectful!”

With the Boston Red Sox taking home another World Series by ousting the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2, the city of St. Louis is hurting right now. But to add insult to injury, ESPN had a gaffe that would make any Cardinals fan irate.

Apparently, this has happened twice already as the leading sports network used the logo for the Arizona Cardinals in place of the St. Louis Cardinals when discussing the World Series matchup. How you screw that up on baseball’s biggest stage is beyond me. But to botch the logo twice is baffling. Maybe there are Boston Red Sox fans over at ESPN that found it funny. Or, maybe they just messed up.

Either way, that’s no way to treat a World Series team.
