Legendary Producer Teddy Riley Suing Lady Gaga
I was a big fan of Teddy Riley‘s work when I was a kid, but I had no idea he was still producing anything for anyone. Apparently though, the legendary 90′s producer, who has created hits for artists such as Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, and Usher, is suing Lady Gaga over money he feels he’s owed for his contribution to “Teeth.” Allegedly, Teddy was promised 25% of the writing fees for the song, but hasn’t received anything. According to TMZ:
“The song was featured on the album, ‘The Fame Monster’ the same year — it’s Gaga’s breakout work that turned her into a global star … and Riley –who became famous in the 90s R&B group Blackstreet (remember No Diggity) — feels betrayed.”
Teddy is requesting that Gaga pay him $500,000 plus punitives. Check out the song that the two are fighting over below.
