Megan Fox In New Call Of Duty: Ghosts Trailer

Call Of Duty has gotten a lot of traction from its advertising campaign, which declares “there’s a soldier in all of us.” Megan Fox is the latest celebrity to be shown blowing up stuff alongside Average Joes, in the trailer for Call Of Duty: Ghosts.

In the ad, four friends go on a post-apocalyptic sort-of Hangover binge. They hit Las Vegas, but instead of painting the town red, the guys go to war in a city reduced to rubble. The spot, titled “Epic Night Out,” is directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine, Walk The Line), and is set to the swinging Frank Sinatra tune, “I’m Gonna Live Till I Die.”

Fox appears as a rooftop sniper, who saves the life of an amorous fanboy, and watches dismissively as the group repels down a building.

Fox is one of the first female celebrities to be featured in the ads. Other big names fighting it out in COD commercials include Jimmy Kimmel and Kobe Bryant. In one memorable set of ads, action star Sam Worthington trains usually-not-action star Jonah Hill, the latter eventually coming into his own.

The ads usually also feature many “average people,” like cooks and office workers, in battle situations. The idea is that these diverse players are all behind the avatars in the video game.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts is the tenth installment of the franchise. It launched for Windows, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U this week, and will be released for Playstation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 15.
