Who needs moves like Jagger when you can have moves like Levine?

Adam Levine, the perfectly coiffed lead singer of Maroon 5 and The Voice coach, has just been honored with the prestigious title of  2013′s “Sexiest Man Alive” by People.

“I feel fantastic,” Levine said on the November 17 episode of the NBC hit reality singing competition in response to news. “I feel sexy.”

The 34-year-old singer, who has been the frontman of the Grammy Award-winning band since 1994, said he never imagined he would be recognized for anything other than his chart-topping hits.

“As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table,” the singer told People of the accolade in the cover story. “I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool. This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction. And I’m not taking any of it for granted.”

Sadly, the sexy crooner is off the market after his recent engagement to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo. “I didn’t think marriage was for me for a long time,” he said. “I was ready when I was ready. That’s about as simple as it could possibly be.”

Adam’s People issue hits on newsstands on November 22. Do you think he’s hotter than last year’s “Sexiest Man” winner, Channing Tatum?
