Kanye West Disses Zappos For Selling “S— Product,” Company’s Response Is Pure Genius

Kanye West clearly never heard the phrase, “If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

Just ask Taylor Swift…or Barack Obama…or Jimmy Kimmel.

Never one to mince his words, the 36-year-old hip-hop star recently fired shots at online shoe retailer Zappos.com during a recent interview with novelist Bret Easton Ellis.

“I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on,” West said during Ellis’ podcast of the company owned by Amazon. “Meanwhile, he sells all this shit product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling shit product.”

Not to be outdone Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos, posted a link posted on his Twitter page to an advertisement titled “Zappos.com Gear Sh-t product.”

Possibly the best comeback to a “Yeezus” diss ever, the ad included the image of a toilet with a plunger stuck inside of it. The accompanying copy gently poked fun at the Watch The Throne rapper. “Interested in buying sh-t product?” the ad asks. “You’ve come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell sh-t products to everybody! This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you’re #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris. The perfect gift for the man that has everything.”

Check out the hilarious image below and click on the ad below for a closer look. Who do you think got the last laugh?
