The creators behind the Fast & Furious franchise have stopped production on the filming of the series’ seventh installment to pay tribute to Paul Walker, who died on Saturday in a fiery car crash.

In a two-minute video posted on Walker’s Facebook page, the 40-year-old actor is remembered in his most iconic role embodying the character of Brian O’Conner. As Skylar Grey’s “I’m Coming Home” plays in the background, clips of Walker starring in five out of the six films fill the screen. And the lyrics say it all: “I’m coming home, I’m coming home/Tell the world I’m coming home/Let the rain wash away/All the pain of yesterday/I know my kingdom awaits/And they’ve forgiven my mistakes/Let the rain wash away/All the pain of yesterday.”

In a particularly poignant scene, Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto gives a toast at a family dinner surrounded by the Fast & Furious gang, which includes Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, and Walker. “The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room. Right here, right now,” he says. “Salud mi familia.”

While production of the Fast & Furious 7 has come to a screeching halt, Universal Pictures has announced that a portion of the proceeds from the DVD sales of the sixth film, Walker’s last, will be donated to his charity Reach Out WorldWide.

“With the passing of Paul, the world has lost a man who spent a great deal of his life in service to others,” Universal Pictures Chairman Donna Langley said in a statement. “All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the FAST AND FURIOUS films, and to countless fans.

He continued, “We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family. We keep Paul’s memory alive and honour his legacy through continued support of Reach Out WorldWide, the non-profit he founded to give hope to those who must rebuild after they have experienced natural disasters.”
