Do You Like The “South Beach” Colors That adidas Added To Their Crazy 97 Sneakers?

On Sunday night, Kobe Bryant made his return to the Los Angeles Lakers lineup. And just a few days before that, Nike revealed that their new Nike Kobe 9 sneaker is going to hit stores very soon. But those aren’t the only Kobe-related “comebacks” that are on tap right now. In addition to those returns, adidas is also planning on bringing back an old Kobe favorite sometime in the near future. Obviously, Kobe Bryant’s name won’t be attached to the sneaker that they’re re-releasing soon since he doesn’t run with the Three Stripes anymore. But the old adidas Crazy 97 sneaker that he used to wear will be making its return in a brand-new colorway.

Are you feeling that colorway, though? The colorway is a take on the “South Beach” colorway that has become popular in recent years and it features hits of turquoise and pink. The adidas Crazy 97 that adidas released earlier this year featured purple and gold and called to mind the Lakers. But this one is dramatically different. And it’s probably going to be a favorite amongst those who like the “South Beach” sneakers that have come out in the past.

We’re not 100 percent sure how we feel about this sneaker just yet. We’re glad that adidas is continuing to push the Crazy 97 sneaker and release it in new colorways. But we don’t necessarily think that this was the right sneaker to add the “South Beach” colors to. Take a closer look at the sneaker below and then let us know if you feel the same way. adidas hasn’t given us a release date for these just yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know more about it when details are made available.
