Is Pusha T Going To Be Working With adidas in 2014?

Kanye West might not be the only G.O.O.D. Music rapper working with adidas in 2014. Sure, Kanye will be the one stealing headlines most often for designing a ton of crazy kicks for the company. But it sounds like one of his fellow G.O.O.D. rappers could be doing some work with the Three Stripes as well.

That rapper is Pusha T. And while we can’t say that he’s going to be working with adidas for sure, we can tell you that Pusha recently helped give away 1,000 pairs of adidas sneakers in Norfolk, Va. as part of a program called “A Thousand Shoes for a Thousand Smiles.” Pusha himself went back to Norfolk and helped hand out the sneakers to children in need. It was a very successful program that helped 1,000 kids get their hands onto sneakers that they wouldn’t have been able to obtain without Pusha’s help. The video over here details the good work that Pusha was able to do.

Now, does all of this prove that Pusha is working closely with adidas? Not at all. For all we know, Kanye helped orchestrate this for him and Pusha won’t be working with the brand at all in the future. But one cool thing about Kanye’s recent deal with adidas is that it seems like he has a lot of creative control over a variety of different sneakers. So we wouldn’t be surprised at all to hear about Pusha and other G.O.O.D. Music artists reaping the benefits of Kanye’s new working relationship with adidas. Maybe it will lead to more giveaways. Or maybe, just maybe, it will lead to guys like Pusha designing their own adidas sneakers as well. We will just have to wait and see.

For now, we’re glad to see someone like Pusha doing his part to give back. Kudos to him, adidas, and the “Thousand Shoes” program for making the Christmas season a little bit better for 1,000 kids in Virginia.
