New Balance’s New “Barber Shop” Pack Is As Fresh As Your Latest Cut

You know that feeling that you get every time you walk out of the barber shop? Of course you do. It’s one of the best feelings in the world if you’re a guy. The barber shop is the place to change your entire look in less than an hour and let the world know that you’re fresh. There’s almost nothing else that you can do so quickly and immediately look like a different person. It’s one of the reasons that so many guys today love making a weekly trip to their barber shop.

If you want to incorporate the “barber shop” into other areas of your life, though, you can do that, too. Specifically, you can do it by picking up one of the three sneakers featured in the new New Balance “Barber Shop” Pack. As you can see in the photo above, New Balance has outfitted three of their most popular pairs of sneakers—the 580, the 1600, and the 999—in a “barber shop”-inspired colorway. New Balance did it differently with each sneaker in the pack. But all three of them feature red, white, and blue, which are the colors that are typically incorporated into the pole that stands outside of a barber shop to indicate that a barber shop is inside. And we’re guessing that New Balance did that in order to make these sneakers look every bit as fresh as your new haircut.

Interested in getting that straight-out-of-the-barber’s-chair feeling from a sneaker? If so, New Balance is going to release the “Barber Shop” pack sometime in the near future. The release date and price point are TBD. We’ll be sure to let you know when we know more details.

In the meantime, let us know if you’re going to pick up a pair of these beauties. We have to admit: They’re not quite as “barber shop-y” (that’s a word, right? Ha) as we expected them to be and, honestly, we doubt anyone outside of you is going to know that they belong to the New Balance “Barber Shop” Pack. But like all New Balance sneakers, these appear to be built well and will definitely be worth a look when they drop.
