Oh boy!

Dwyane Wade revealed a shocking secret last night when he confirmed reports that he has a third son, but not with his new fianceé Gabrielle Union. The 31-year-old NBA star athlete became engaged last week to the 42-year-old actress but he and the Being Mary Jane star apparently suffered from a break before pledging the rest of their lives to one another.

“I had a time, a part in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son that was born healthy,” Wade said during a press conference Monday evening, as reported by the Miami Herald. “So I’m moving on.”

Back in September, Wade alluded to the break during an appearance on The Tonight Show. “I was dealing with my injuries, trying to win a championship,” he confessed to late night host Jay Leno. “So we kinda took a step back.”

Wade already has two sons, Zaire and Zion, from his first marriage to Siohvaughn Funches. Wade’s third son was reportedly born last month, mothered by a woman the Miami Heat star has known “for many years.” Thankfully, Union was aware of Wade’s third son before she said yes by accepting a stunning 8.5-carat cushion cut diamond ring made by Jason of Beverly Hills.

Go behind-the-scenes of Gabrielle and Dwyane’s first ever Christmas card shoot below. Do you think the 8.5-carat diamond sparkler presented by Wade after his third baby boy surprisingly arrived helped Gabrielle take a step forward?
