L’Oreal loves blondes. First, the haircare brand named Blake Lively as their new spokesmodel for L’Oreal Paris last November. And now, the line has announced that actress Kirsten Dunst will serve as the very first L’Oréal Professionnel spokesperson.

“Kirsten Dunst has a timeless beauty and is a modern woman, closely connected to fashion,” says Anne-Laure Lecerf, International Managing Director of L’Oréal Professionnel. “She has a strong personality and makes her own choices. Her great professionalism and commitment to excellence make Kirsten one of the talented actresses I have ever met. She has the perfect attributes to embody the new values of L’Oréal Professionnel.”

Dunst burst on the scene at 12 years old with her memorable role as Claudia opposite Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in 1994′s Interview With A Vampire. She later became one of the biggest names in Hollywood, with starring roles in The Virgin Suicides, Little Women, Jumanji, Bring It On, Marie Antoinette, Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3, and Bachelorette. Most recently, the 31-year-old actress was awarded Best Actress at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival for her astonishing performance in Melancholia. Now, the New Jersey native is bringing her talent to the international premium salon-exclusive line.

“I feel very close to L’Oréal Professionnel,” said Dunst, who will help launch Wild Stylers from Tecni.Art, Beach Waves, and Absolut Repair Lipidium. “The brand is strongly connected to fashion and I admire its commitment to innovation, constantly creating new professional services and products to achieve the most on-trend styles. L’Oréal Professionnel empowers hairdressers to transform and reveal the beauty in each woman all over the world. It makes me very proud to be a part of this stunning project.”

Do you think Kristen will bring it on for L’Oréal Professionnel?
