Do You Think adidas Went Overboard With These Wild 2014 NBA All-Star Game Sneakers?
The NBA All-Star Game is being held in New Orleans this year. So we can pretty much guarantee that All-Star Weekend is going to look and feel like one gigantic party. Actually, NBA All-Star Weekend always looks and feels like one gigantic party. But when the NBA All-Star Game comes to New Orleans, everything is over the top. And we don’t expect this year to be any different as everything from the uniforms that are designed by adidas to the parties before, during, and after the All-Star Game are going to be wild.
The sneakers that NBA players wear during the All-Star festivities are likely going to be very wild, too. Sneaker companies always design specific All-Star sneakers for those players that make it to the game. And that’s probably going to be the case again this season. In fact, adidas has already proved it by creating a couple pairs of NBA All-Star Game sneakers that are going to be given to adidas players who make it to the All-Star Game this year. The first sneaker is the adidas Crazy 1 done up in a wild “Mardi Gras” colorway, and the second sneaker is the adidas Crazy 8, which also pays homage to New Orleans’ legendary “Mardi Gras” celebration. Both sneakers are very, very, very colorful and feature splashes of orange, purple, blue, and green throughout them to varying degrees. There’s a lot going on with both sneakers.
