Selena Gomez Disses Justin Bieber: “I Haven’t Found Someone Not Threatened By My Lifestyle!”

Selena Gomez is ready for love so come and get it, na na na na!

The 21-year-old singer poses on not one, not two, but three covers for the March issue of Seventeen, rocking crop tops with the words “dream”, “brave,” and “confident.” Inside the issue, Gomez proves she is all three while dishing on the reason behind her split with on-again, off-again beau Justin Bieber.

“I haven’t found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it,” Gomez confessed.

The star even admitted that breaking up with Bieber almost derailed her career. “I turned 20, went through a really bad breakup, and realized I needed to pick up everything,” she said. “I questioned the way I looked, acted, sang, and wrote. I started becoming very stale with my music and I realized that I was doing things for other people.”

Thankfully, Selena received some “Prism” words of advice from fellow pop star Katy Perry, who knows a thing or two about surviving a breakup in the public eye. “I actually talked to [her] about guys who are intimidated by strong girls,” Selena said. “All this time I was trying to figure out why I felt like such an underdog, and I finally realized I just wasn’t ready. Even though my show was picked up, it seemed like I was putting in so much work and seeing no results. I’m glad it’s taken me this long to get where I am because now I am ready for it.”
