Do You Think Reebok Did A Good Job With These “Hip Hop Appreciation” Sneakers?

It’s no secret that there are a lot of rappers out there who love sneakers. In fact, there are quite a few rappers who have had sneakers created specifically for them over the years. So we’re not exactly surprised to hear that Reebok just decided to create a special Reebok “Hip Hop Appreciation” Pack. But we are surprised to see what they were able to come up with. Because these weren’t necessarily created by rappers or even for rappers. Rather, they were created in order to pay homage to the art form of rapping and hip hop.

The sneakers included in the Reebok “Hip Hop Appreciation” Pack are the Reebok Q96 and the Reebok Rail. Both sneakers use hip-hop albums for inspiration. Specifically, they appear to show a lot of love to the A Tribe Called Quest‘s Midnight Marauders album. And while they’re probably not the first sneakers you’d pick to wear on a regular basis, these sneakers were designed for those hip hop fans out there who want to show their love and appreciation for the music that they listen to so often. So if that’s you, you’ll want to keep a pair of these on deck. Even if you’re not wearing them on a regular basis, they would perfect for, say, a trip to the record store (assuming you still make those trips!) or a concert.

Both the Q96 and the Rail “Hip Hop Appreciation” sneakers are available right now. You can pick them up through a variety of Reebok retailers and through Reebok.com with the Q96 selling for $115 and the Rail selling for $100. Which of the “Hip Hop Appreciation” sneakers do you like best? And do you see yourself picking up a pair of these and actually wearing them? Let us know in the comments section as soon as you check out the additional images of the sneakers that we have included below.
