The New Godzilla Trailer Is Pretty Remarkable
After the 1998 debacle of a film, it’s only appropriate that we approach the 2014 installment of Godzilla with hesitation. However, after laying eyes upon the full-length trailer, it might be safe to say that our concerns are slowly dissolving. They aren’t completely gone because a trailer can only do so much in two minutes. But it doesn’t look like we’ll have to suffer through Matthew Broderick‘s nonsense, those silly baby Godzillas, and that horrible “Come With Me” song that Diddy forced down our throat.
First thing’s first, the fact that Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) is heavily featured in the trailer does a great deal towards establishing some sort of credibility. From there, what we see looks pretty remarkable. I don’t think there will be any baby Godzillas or another Diddy song to deal with. And that’s a great thing.
