Check Out The First Trailer For Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

It’s been almost a decade since the world saw the seedy, shadowy vignettes of Sin City on the big screen. And now, the characters from Frank Miller‘s neo-noir comic series are back for a second installment that looks more star-studded and action-packed than ever:

Returning favorites include Mickey Rourke, in one of the roles that revitalized his career, as the disfigured good-guy bruiser Marv; Jessica Alba as stripper-with-a-heart-of-gold Nancy Callahan; Bruce Willis as last-good-cop Det. Hartigan; and Powers Boothe as the evil Sen. Roark. But there are many high-profile new faces as well, like Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (who is now legally obligated to be in all nerdy-cool films, it seems).

Robert Rodriguez and series creator Miller are also returning as co-directors, with Miller penning the script.

Miller’s film adaptations have a mixed history. They’ve included everything from bombs (Elektra, The Spirit) to critical flops but commercial successes (300), to more all-around well-received films (Sin City).
