Santigold “Goes Hard” With New Stance Sock Collection

Santigold may have struck gold with her latest fashion endeavor. The renowned singer, songwriter, producer, and fashion ingénue has teamed up with premium sock brand Stance to launch The Santigold Collection.

“Santi has an amazing sense of personal style and unparalleled commitment to her art,” said Candy Harris, Vice President of Women’s Strategy at Stance. “She is not afraid to mix colors and patterns and her hands-on approach made sure that each design tells a unique story that truly encapsulates what motivates her as an individual and style influencer.”

The three-piece collection includes three out-the-box prints with three equally clever names. Inspired by Brooklyn, the socks are named Gold Links, Kilimanjaro, and Brooklyn Go Hard after the song she recorded with Jay-Z, which features exclusive sketches by artist Thom Lessner. “I was excited to collaborate with Stance, and to make socks a new canvas for some of my creative ideas,” said Santi.

For the collection, the ASCAP Pop Music Award winner was also influenced by her trip to Tanzania where she climbed Kilimanjaro as part of a documentary to raise awareness for the global clean water crisis. Her visit to a Masai village during this trip influenced the mix and match pattern found on her Kilimanjaro sock. As a result, 20 percent of the sales proceeds from “Kilimanjaro” go to charity: water, a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

Check out The Santigold Sock Collection below. Retailing from $14-$20, the socks just debuted and can be found on Stance.com and will also be sold in stores at Nordstrom, Opening Ceremony, Colette, Unknwn Miami, Wish, and Brooklyn Museum.
