Watch Oprah Curse Out Lindsay Lohan In Her First OWN Series’ Trailer: “You Need To Cut The Bullsh**!”
Lindsay Lohan has finally met her match.
In the first official trailer for the highly anticipated eight-part documentary series Lindsay, which is set to premiere on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, the 27-year-old actress is quickly put in her place by Oprah. After missing a number of agreed-upon shoots and destroying the timeline for the production team, the queen of talk sits down to have a talk with the fallen star.
“You need to cut the bulls**t,” Oprah says sternly. “You really do. My truth is that I really do want you to win, I really do. If that isn’t what you want, I’m OK with that. I will tell [the crew] to pack up and leave today.”
Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Amy Rice (By the People: The Election of Barack Obama), filming begins as the movie star and media sensation moves to New York from Los Angeles on her journey through recovery following a sixth-day stint in court-appointed rehab.
“In this honest, no-holds-barred account, viewers will see an intimate, unflinching look into the life of one of the world’s most sought-after celebrities,” reads an official press statement for the show. “Cameras follow Lohan as she returns to New York, reunites with friends and family, and attempts to build a new life. As she works to stay on track amid the demands (and pitfalls) of fame, she opens up as never before, discussing everything from her emotional recovery process to her exhausting run-ins with the paparazzi.”
In the series premiere, “equipped with a new personal assistant and a sober coach, Lohan moves into a New York hotel and begins the challenging search for a new apartment while career pressures build.”
Lindsay is produced with OWN by Pilgrim Studios and is executive produced by Craig Piligian, Nicholas Caprio, and Johnny Gould. Amy Rice, Ralph Wikke, and Mitch Rosa are co-executive producers.
