adidas Creates A Pair Of Pink Crazy 1 “Breast Cancer Awareness” Sneakers For John Wall
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month isn’t until October. That’s when many sports leagues and sneaker companies typically release pink products in order to help bring about awareness to breast cancer and raise funds to fight it. However, it looks like adidas might not wait until October this year to paint one of their sneakers pink to combat breast cancer. Because yesterday, a handful of photos of a very special adidas Crazy 1 “Breast Cancer Awareness” sneaker started circulating on the Internet, and it appears as though adidas is going to have one of their athletes John Wall wear them at some point in the near future.
As you can see, the Crazy 1 “Breast Cancer Awareness” sneaker has the same basic design as all of the other Crazy 1 sneakers out there. However, it differentiates itself from the pack thanks to the black glossy upper that it has. It also has an outsole that is completely pink, pink accents on the heel, and laces that are covered with a floral pattern. That floral pattern is also used to a lesser degree on other aspects of the sneaker and really helps to sell the idea of this being a “Breast Cancer Awareness” sneaker or, at the very least, a sneaker geared towards females or promoting female health.
As of right now, adidas hasn’t released any official images of these sneakers or revealed when or where they’re going to drop. If we had to guess, adidas might be saving these for May and dropping them in time for Mother’s Day. But for right now, we’ll just have to sit back and wait to see what adidas decides to do with these sneakers. We’ll be sure to update you when and if we know more about a potential release date for them.
