Dopeness Issue 10 With Dual Covers Feature August Alsina And Tiffany Foxx
Dopeness Magazine released their tenth issue yesterday with dual covers featuring R&B newcomer and Def Jam Records recording artist August Alsina, whose debut project Testimony was released this week.
August shared with Dopeness the reason behind why he chose April 15th for the release of his album, saying it falls on the birthday of his slain brother. The New Orleans native also expressed how he feels about his rise to fame: “I don’t feel like I am well known yet. There’s a lot more growing to do, but I’m the same n*gga from the hood just with a little more money.”
Also covering the magazine is female lyricist Tiffany Foxx, who follows in the footsteps of her boss lady, the one and only Lil Kim. The St. Louis native shared her thoughts on any females who may be hating on her intent to “Rip The Game Apart,” and also what it’s like to have the backing of some heavy hitters.
“I basically connected from the East and the West,” she said. “I got the best of both worlds that support me and legends in this game that understand what’s needed to make it”.
