Amazing Spider-Man 2 Star Emma Stone Does Magic & Calls Herself “That Bland Basic Bitch” In Vogue
Emma Stone is simply amazing for Vogue‘s May 2014 issue.
Following the very controversial decision to put the #worldsmosttalkedabout couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the April 2014 cover, Anna Wintour seems to have come to her senses. The Editor-In-Chief picked the 25-year-old The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star to grace the latest cover of the iconic fashion magazine. For the cover-story, Emma met writer Jason Gay at Build-A-Bear. Yes, Build-A-Bear.
“I want to give my bear skinny jeans. This is bear-nanas,” Stone said, pun intended. “I can’t stop making bear jokes!”
When the actress stopped stuffing her future furry friends long enough, she opened up on the downside of googling herself and the upside of dating her Spider-man co-star Andrew Garfield.
“I think I’ve learned a lot by being around him,” she gushed about her actor beau. “And, you know, he is an incredibly important person to me…It’s been fun working with him just because of who he is as an actor and person. I think it would be fun no matter what.”
Garfield clearly feels the same about his leading lady. “I thank my lucky stars that we’ve been able to be on this ride together,” he said in an e-mail to Vogue. “We all need companions in the mystery to get you out of your head and into your heart, to moan to and to take the piss out of it all with.”
When she isn’t spending time with her personal superhero or starring in massive hits like Superbad, Easy A, Zombieland, Gangster Squad, or Crazy, Stupid, Love, Stone admits that she’s not above a Google search to find out what the world is saying about her.
“I don’t usually like what I find,” she says. “But some of it is really funny.” (Stone mentions Internet comments that referred to her as a “Bland Basic Bitch,” which was probably meant as a dig, but she found it hilarious). Stone now refers to herself as “That Bland Basic Bitch.”
