Reebok Is Going To Re-Release Their Reebok Classic Battleground & Boulevard Sneakers This Spring
Did you think that Reebok was done rolling out old sneakers as new releases? Ha. Not quite. In fact, not even close. There are still plenty of old Reebok sneakers that are going to get the retro treatment in the near future. And you know what? We’re not mad at that. We’re not mad at all. Because a lot of the sneakers that Reebok has re-released over the course of the last couple years have been really dope sneakers that we didn’t ever think we would see again. So we’re glad that they’re continuing to release sneakers from our youth, and we’re pleasantly surprised when they catch us off guard with something that we haven’t seen yet.
They just managed to do it—again—with not one, but two different sneakers that they’re planning on re-releasing in the very near future as part of the Reebok Classic Blacktop Collection. The two sneakers in the collection are the Reebok Classic Battleground sneaker (as seen above) and the Reebok Classic Boulevard sneaker (as seen below). Truthfully, it’s been a long time since we’ve paid any mind to either of these sneakers. But these used to be great for streetball. They both feature tough, durable, high-top designs that look great both on and off the court. And they fall right in line with what Reebok has been doing lately—re-releasing old classics that make us fall in love again with sneakers that we used to have as kids.
Both of these sneakers will be available in very limited quantities on May 9. The Reebok Classic Battleground, which includes Reebok’s Pump technology, will retail for $125, while the Reebok Classic Boulevard will sell for $100. They will be available through a number of different Reebok retailers. Do you appreciate the fact that Reebok is re-releasing these and will you plan on picking up a pair?
