Michael Jordan’s Kids Created A Very Special Sneaker For Him For Father’s Day
What do you buy for your dad for Father’s Day when he literally has everything that he could ever possibly want? That’s the question that Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine Jordan were faced with recently when they put their collective heads together to try and think of what to buy their dad Michael Jordan for Father’s Day this year. After all, MJ literally has everything that any man could ever want. From cars and clothes to houses and jewelry, he wants for absolutely nothing. So his kids really had to think outside of the box to come up with a gift this year. And they finally landed on a pretty terrific idea, even though they didn’t have to go too far outside of the box to find it.
Rather than give MJ another bottle of cologne or a new tie for Father’s Day, Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine decided to give him…a pair of sneakers! But these aren’t just any old sneakers. No, no. Because MJ has tons of sneakers at his disposal, the Jordan kids created a special pair of Air Jordan 1 “Father’s Day” sneakers for their dad. They include things like an all-denim upper and a Carolina blue outsole that the kids think their dad will appreciate as well as a bunch of other really small details that help tie the sneaker together and make it as personal as possible for MJ. We imagine that he’ll love them when he actually gets them on his feet.
You will get the opportunity to love them as well, because these are not 1-of-1 sneakers. Rather than just create a singular pair for their pops, the Jordan kids decided to share these sneakers with the world by releasing them through select Jordan retailers yesterday. So if you like what the Jordan kids did and you want a pair of these sneakers for yourself, you can go out there right now and cop a pair. Who knows? Maybe you can even pick up a pair for your dad on Father’s Day if he’s a big Michael Jordan fan.
