What Do You Think About Derrick Rose’s New adidas D Rose 773 III?

Even though he hasn’t really played at all for the better part of the last two years, Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is still arguably the most well-known player that adidas Basketball has on its roster. So in spite of the fact that D-Rose has spent more time sitting on the sidelines in street clothes during Bulls games lately than actually suiting up and playing for the team, adidas continues to pump out new D-Rose sneakers as early and often as they can. It’s really strange actually. There are a handful of D-Rose sneakers that adidas has created in recent years that Rose hasn’t even had a chance to wear on the court! And yet, adidas keeps pumping them out because they remain popular amongst basketball players and seem to sell pretty well for the company.

With that in mind, we aren’t surprised at all to see adidas delivering the brand-new adidas D Rose 773 III right now. For the third summer now, adidas is releasing the D Rose 773 sneaker and it appears as though they have improved on the first two versions of the sneaker. The sneakers—which are referred to as the “773″ model because that’s the area code of Rose’s hometown of Chicago—are going to be available in a variety of different colorways this summer and feature everything from perforated panels on the sides of the sneakers to the patented adidas adiprene+ cushioning system. These look like they’ll be perfect for running the streetball courts this summer.

What do you think about adidas releasing yet another 773 model this summer, even though D-Rose probably won’t get to wear it? As long as adidas continues to outdo themselves with the D Rose models, we don’t really mind them keeping them going. But at some point, we do hope to see D-Rose wearing his own sneakers out on the court! Maybe this fall?

Let us know which D Rose 773 III colorway you like best out of all of the ones pictured in the photo above.
