Basketball Wives: LA Star Malaysia Pargo Scores Big In Divorce
Basketball Wives: LA Star Malaysia Pargo will walk away from her marriage to NBA player Jannero Pargo with a pretty good support package. Malaysia, who filed for divorce from the Charlotte Hornets guard in May, was awarded primary physical custody of the couple’s three children together, and according to TMZ:
“Jannero was ordered to pay $15,380/month in child support and another $7,500/month in spousal support. He’s also been ordered to fork over $25,000 for her attorneys’ fees.”
Although Malaysia has starred on all three seasons of Basketball Wives: LA, which premiered in 2011, Jannero was never featured on the hit VH1 show. According to Malaysia, she and Jannero were first separated in December 2012. The couple married in 2006.
Last month, Jannero signed a fully guaranteed one-year, $1.45 million contract with the Hornets. Let’s hope he knows how to make a dollar stretch because $1.45 million does not go very far when you’re paying child and spousal support, and trying to keep up with the extravagant lifestyle of being a NBA player.
