Once friends, now bitter enemies, Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent are still at odds with one another. Although the heat has been relatively calm between the two, 50 Cent decided to throw gasoline on the simmering fire.

With the Ice Bucket Challenge gaining more and more momentum each day, 50 Cent decided to use that platform to take a shot at the unbeaten boxing champion.

“This is a special ALS/ELS challenge for you Floyd,” 50 Cent said in a video he released on Instagram. “If you could read one full page of a ‘Harry Potter’ book … I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to.”

He concluded by launching the bucket of ice behind him while emphatically exclaiming “F*ck the bucket of ice!”

50 did make a mistake, however. It’s not a “ELS” challenge. It’s called “ESL” or “English as a second language.” Obviously, we can expect Mayweather to respond in some shape or fashion in the future as he’s not one to ignore a shot taken at him. When he was recently asked about his relationship with 50 Cent, Mayweather made the following statement that likely incited the rapper to release the Instagram video.

“God has blessed me with an unbelievable talent, with fast feet, fast hands, unbelievable defense and a very, very sharp mind,” Mayweather said to MLive.com. “So I’m thankful for that. Of course, hip hop artists, they come and go. They come and go. But I’m still here.”

Will this war of words end anytime soon?
