Atlanta Exes star Christina Johnson has become known for her calm and peaceful ways on the hit VH1 reality series, but that temporarily went out the window when another woman recently hit on her new boyfriend, Willie Wallace, by direct messaging him on Instagram. Christina, who met Willie while shooting the show, screenshot the message from the other woman, who told Willie to call her if things didn’t work out with Christina, and posted it on IG, blasting the woman for her “thotful” [sic] and “disrespectful” ways.

Recently, I got the chance to talk to Christina about the incident for my column “The Scoop.” During our chat, she expressed her frustration about women pursuing men who are already taken. She told me, “As women, sometimes I feel like we have to stop doing that to each other. Whether you’re in a committed relationship or you’re married, you should always be respectful of another woman’s relationship.”

Christina also went into detail during our talk about why she has such a strong opinion on this issue. “Early in my life, I’ve had my heart broken before, and I know what it feels like. I just decided early in my life that I never wanted to be the face behind another woman’s pain. And so, I just want other women to feel that way as well,” she explained. “If we were to stop doing that to each other, it would save us a lot of heartache, a lot of pain. If you know someone’s happy in a relationship, just leave it alone. Be happy for them, even give your well-wishes, but don’t try to break up a relationship or marriage. I just don’t feel like that’s right.”

You can catch Christina and the rest of the ladies of Atlanta Exes every Monday night at 9:30pm on VH1. Be sure to check out the rest of the interview by checking out my column on JuicyMagOnline.com.
