This Woman Managed To Land In A Reebok Advertisement By Getting A Gigantic Reebok Tattoo

It’s not easy to land an endorsement deal with a sneaker company. Even if you’re a professional athlete, the only way to get a sneaker company to sign you to a deal is to stand out in your sport. You need to be either a superstar athlete or a guy or girl who is so interesting that you make it worth it for a sneaker company to sign you, simply because you’ll help them get media attention. It’s the way the sneaker game works. But recently, a woman named Camilla Nilsson earned herself a short-term endorsement deal with Reebok—and all it took was a tattoo.

Well, to be fair, that’s not all it took. Back in 2012, Nilsson—who was overweight and out of shape at the time—decided that she wanted to do something about her physical condition. So she entered a Tough Viking competition and started training constantly. She hit the gym five or six times a week and, before long, she started to see results. She also worked her way back into shape and eventually completed the Tough Viking race. And in honor of doing it, she decided to tattoo the Reebok logo onto the back of her right thigh as a constant reminder of what she was able to do. It’s a large tattoo, too, and covers almost her entire thigh. But it ended up being a great decision, because Nilsson just received her very own advertisement from Reebok as a result of it.

“It’s a really cool looking graphic, but mostly it symbolizes the changes I’ve gone through over the past year,” she said in a statement that was released recently.

It does symbolize the changes that Nilsson went through over the last 12 months. But isn’t it just crazy to tattoo a sneaker company’s logo on your leg? Maybe so. But at the very least, it’ll serve as a constant reminder of what Nilsson did before getting it. And she’ll always have this ad to look back on for the rest of her life.

What do you think about the idea of tattooing a brand’s logo on your body? Let us know.
